The UPPAbaby vista 2 double is another lightweight option that can be used by twins or a baby and toddler. The seats feature multi-position reclining and UPF 50+ sunshades, and the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun from your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into triple by adding UPPAbaby's 'PiggyBack’ board for older children.
The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most popular available. This is due to their outstanding comfort. It's a true all terrain pushchair, with soft suspension to make light work of bumpy surfaces. It offers 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who like to walk, and a 'cinema mode' that raises the back seats for better visibility.
The phil&teds dots are great single buggys that are easily modified to take two (or three!) Different configurations are possible. This is especially useful if you have a baby in a car. The frame can be fitted to a wedgie that allows for the most optimal lying-flat position. Car seat adapters that can be used with many brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride since babies feel every bump on the road. This is particularly relevant if you drive on rough terrain such as grass or roads that are not paved. Some models have locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres which will give you a great all-terrain adventure, but they could be susceptible to punctures, therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Others have foam or gel tyres that are specifically designed to handle bumps and can be less prone to punctures, however, you may feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back if you decide to jog.

MFM reviewer Kath tested the Urban Glide 2 with her toddler and newborn and found it to be very capable on difficult terrain. "It navigated effortlessly across bumpy sidewalks and grass, cobbles, and dirt tracks. It was also easy for me to maneuver around corners and get up and down kerbs." Folding
A 3 wheel double buggy folds quite neatly to store it. There are models that fold flat or stand up (as though they were in the form of a pushchair) and others that are able to open up to reveal more umbrella-like folding that has the option of a hand-operated break. The more wheels a buggy is equipped with, in general the more easy it will be to maneuver through rough terrain. This is particularly applicable when the wheels are bigger than the average. 3 wheeled pushchair will provide you with more stability and decrease the likelihood that your children will fall over or tip over.
